- Taking Fun Seriously – This is a blog of a good friend of mine. Josh Crocker has been a huge help to me with all the in’s and out’s of starting this journey. He has been the link to many of the other resources that you would find here. He is always looking to help and encourage others. Good guy to connect with.
- Four Hour Work Week - This is the blog of Tim Ferriss. If you are interacting online and in any way pursuing a different lifestyle you have either already read this guys book or need to go get it right now. His book has influenced my life more than any other book outside of the Bible.
- The Art of Non-Conformity – This is the blog of Chris Guillebeau. This guy is truly amazing. I have been to over 3 dozen countries and thought that was a lot until I started reading this guy. If you like travel you will love this guy. If you enjoy anything that helps you live life to the fullest then you will be drawn to this guy.
- Heroic Destiny - I have been interacting with this guy for a while now and absolutely love him. He is funny, helpful and gained a huge fan base in just a few months. David Crandall is the guy you will want to ask question about anything virtual and he WILL get back to you. That is awesome.
FREE PDF’s
- Starting Point – This is a short e-book that outlines 4 easy steps to either help you gain direction and traction in leadership or to juice up your leadership as you are going. Quick read and will be well worth it.
- A Brief Guide to World Domination - This will either raise questions for you that you need to struggle with or will excite you in a way that will keep you up all night. Either one makes it worth the read. When I first read this I was up till 3 in the morning writing ideas and actions that could directly expand my influence. If I had to recommend a highly influential short read, this would be it.
- 279 Days to Overnight Success - Subtitled “An unconventional Journey to Full-Time Writing,” this is what I am currently using and referring to regularly to help me with my writing for this blog. This has been very helpful in numerous ways, if you are looking for a read that will get your head spinning with possibilities – this is it! I read the whole thing in one sitting and began making changes immediately.
Sweet Websites
- I am Second- This is an amazing site that has videos that share all kinds of stories of how Jesus Christ has changed their life. Some have to do with when they got saved but others have to do with marriage, anger, war, prison, drugs and anything else you can think of. My favorite one is the video of Brian Sumner. Powerful!
- 100 Faces of War Experience – This guy lives in Mass. and is painting 100 portraits of people who have been to Iraq of Afghanistan. The pictures are powerful but the stories that accompany each picture will wreck you. One of the guys I know and it just so happens that his picture was the one selected to hang in the National Art Gallery in Washington D.C. His name is Rick Yarosh, and he is picture number 23.
